I Can Drive!

I can drive without my dad beside me, that is. And boy, is this wonderful news to me. I woke up this morning at 7:00 to go take a shower, eat breakfast and go for a two hour practise drive with my instructor. I think I was still sleepy or something, because I did not drive as well as I did yesterday. Around 9.30AM, my instructor told me to head over to the RTA, just in case I needed to go to the bathroom (which I did; I had drank 750mL of water, excluding the milk from my cereal for breakfast – my bladder was on the verge of popping. Yup, just thought you had to know)My test started at 10AM, with a very nice woman who had blonde hair, haha. I got 105/108 marks but my examiner told me it wasn’t about the marks, it was about the safety of the car I was driving. So what were the three things I did wrong? Speed, speed and position – this is in the correct order as well. She said that she should have failed me, since my positioning was wrong, and that I could have turned right, but considering the situation I was in, I was doing the correct thing, and that she wouldn’t fail me. She also said that it was a really good drive!  |
