Window Shopping
Monday, July 19, 2010
I decided to go out and do a little shopping today (more like window shopping), but before I did I had to go on a few errands for my parents. In the middle of an errand, Lexie texted me and asked my where-abouts. She came soon after to the bank and hung with me until it was my turn.We then caught brunch together. Lexie and I love that word. Brunch. And we always seem to have brunch together whenever we go out as well, haha. We had blueberry pancakes and wedges, strange mix – I know. We talked about our lives and when we go back to uni, TAFE in her case, as well as boys, life and our complicated family. Her hair is freaking long, it grows really fast. I remember when she cut in short a little before HSC trials last year, I envy her. We soon parted (because my parents didn’t know I was out eating with her) and agreed to meet up again after I headed back to my parents work. When we met up again, we window shopped and had an awesome time too! We bought ourselves Boost’s and went to City Beach where I tried on hats and Lexie looked at skateboard equipment. She told me she had the board and the wheels, but didn’t have the thing to attach the two together. Before we left City Beach, we tried on the glasses, they were (and still are) freaking AWESOME! ![]() Lexie told me she had to leave, because the bus was coming and she didn’t want to catch it alone (if she caught that bus, she would be with her older sister Liz). We realised we both are 18, so why not buy ourselves a scratchy? Me: Why don’t you buy the $3 scratchy? (Lexie buys $1 scratchy) Lexie: Cause I don’t have enough change for it. Me: I just think there are better chances in winning with a $3 scratchy. Guess who was right? I won a whopping $6 with my $3 scratchy, thank you very much! ![]() So to end of this post, I want to say HAPPY 19TH ALYSE! Labels: friends, outings, scratchies, shopping |
