The morning of my 18th

You’d think that on one’s birthday, being able to sleep in is allowed, but no. My mother decided to wake me up at 8.00AM and reminded me to clean up the house, put some clothes into the wash, hang up the washed clothing, bring in the washed clothing when dry and then iron the washed clothing. Seriously, did she forget I turned 18 today? Doesn’t that entitle me to some rest time?Well, I ended up doing all the house chores anyway and for lunch I made my sister cook because I was tired and I all I wanted to do was go back to sleep in my warm bed, because I know tonight is going to be freaking awesome!
