Long Weekend

I really should be studying this long weekend for my exam coming up this Wednesday, but I really cannot be bothered for Australia and the World. Seriously, who made this subject compulsory? I’m stressing out so much that greys are starting to pop out everywhere on my head, and I’m not liking it one bit Jan!Anyway, we went to Campbelltown today to visit my family friend, who owns a nail parlour (they do all sorts of things there, tattooing eyebrows, tattooing lips, waxing and LED crystals etc) offered to wax my aunt’s, my mum’s, my sister’s and my eyebrow. They could have done a better job, because now I don’t like my eyebrows – they’re too thin and I kind of look like a bitch if I tilt my head to the side. We soon went to their house and found two huge kumquat trees in the front yard, so being the Asian my mother is, she said for a bag full of kumquats. She then proceeded to the backyard and asked for aloe-vera (which is very good for the skin, it makes you look younger and whiter) while my uncle, dad, two cousins, sister and I toured the house. They have TWO karaoke machines (yeah, I think they like the number two too)!   Beside from that whole Campbelltown ordeal, I think I’m obsessed with my recycling bin. My life is dependent on it now, and I’ve never realised how much paper I waste every three months…Labels: Asian, bin, Campbelltown, family |
