English Texts and Writing Exam

Ugh, exams, I don’t need to say anymore right? You understand right? God how I hate exams! I prefer assignments/assessments over them a million times over! But this exam is worth 50% of the total unit so if I don’t pass this, I’m probably going to re-study this unit *die*The exam wasn’t that bad though, it was better than the Australia and the World exam. We had to write two essays, both had to be approximately 600 words each. The first essay was about myth and modernity, linking the theme to the novel The Children’s Bach by Helen Garner. The second essay was about genre and history, linking it to the novel The Old Man and The Sea by Earnest Hemmingway. I think I wrote better with The Children’s Bach, because I stupidly studied more on myth and modernity than genre and history. After the exam, Gerry, Jennifer and I stuck around uni and took a few photos together. It was awesome. Oh, I photoshopped these photos below because the original looked really cold and bland. So I made them warmer looking and clearer. I fixed the light as well. Thank God for Paint Shop Pro8 and Photoshop CS4!  I’m just glad the exam is over and that I officially start holiday this very moment! Cheers to all those who have a month-ish holiday! Now I am free to find myself a job (good-luck Delena) and I can go back to Photoshop and make pretty images to see if I can get myself a graphics position at www.jaypark.com (its Jay Park’s official website bro!). I shall up the graphics I have made when I finish them, probably by tomorrow afternoon because I have to finish it up and send in my bio and pictures by the 25th June.
