Recap of June/July Outings
Tuesday, July 24, 2012
I'd just like to say that this month has been extremely busy, I've had at least one celebration each week for five weeks now, and 90% of them were birthdays. So all the money I have been saving up for during these past few weeks from work, have flown out of my wallet and into presents for friends I love!29th June: Gerry's Japanese Themed 20th! You can also check out Jennifer's and Gerry's blog for a more photos, I didn't bring my camera that night, so these photos below are taken by them and a few other friends. She celebrated her birthday at home, and had a Japanese themed party! 2nd July: Henry&Wendy's Wedding~ Only took a few photos from our phone, the rest is still developing, so the groom says. The wedding took place at Rhodes Phoenix Restaurant, I must say, the food was okay, wasn't spectacular but the service was great! 10th July: The Twins 23rd Birthday~ I love these girls so much, they're practically family to me now. Had so much fun! Celebrated at Bankstown RSL Star Buffet for dinner, then CEO Karaoke in the city. Karaoke was fun, but only the girls sang, the boys were too busy drinking the night away, heh. 12th July: Jonie's Belated 20th Birthday! Man, I am not kidding when I say fine dining has real high standards! We ate at Becasse, a degustation!! I had to leave early though or I'd be catching a ghost train back to Cabramatta, so I missed out on the main meal and the dessert. 17th July: My 20th Birthday~ I will be blogging about my birthday in an individual post, haha. Cause I want to show you peeps what my friends and family got me, I love my gifts! 21st July: Deanna's Sweet Sixteenth! I can't believe my baby sister isn't so baby anymore. She's a freaking giant, taller than any girl I know, and with heels on, she makes me feel like a midget. I love her so much, that I took her and her two closest friends out in the morning to Star City Adriano Zumbo for macaroons, lunch, Pure Gelato at Croydon Park and finally a party store where she got her tiara and birthday balloon. 23rd July: Ann's 22nd Birthday~ Celebrated her birthday at Bar Luck, same food, same people I love and great music! I love the face that it was such a chill birthday. Just headed home afterwards. Oh my gosh, after this post, I feel like I've been completely ignoring my parents, such a bad kid. Hopefully I stay home a lot over the next sixteen weeks, cause of uni study, haha. Labels: birthday, boyfriend, friends, karaoking, outings, wedding 11 Questions + Handwriting Tag
Friday, July 13, 2012
So following on from Jennifer, I am completing these tags give to us by Gerry even later than she did. I am not going to be tagging anyone, cause the only two people who really read my blog and comment have already finished theirs, haha. Any who, let's get crackin' shall we? I figured since I haven't updated for nine days now, this may be the easiest thing to blog about!
1. What is your full name and how old are you?
My full name is Hoang Diem Delena Tran. Please just call me Delena, or Dee, or Del. 2. What are your hobbies?
I love reading, haven't actually read a good book in a long time. I mean, I sat down and read the 50 Shades trilogy, but it was really poorly written in my point of view. I mean I have read other books about BDSM/hot sex/raunchy romance and I have never experienced any other writer to dull down the sex and make me feel like it was an 18 year old having sex for the first time. If you ask me, the story line is good, but the writing was horrible in some bits, but hey its her first book! So I must congratulate her!
3. What's your style like? Who/what inspires you? My style is really hard to define. I mean if you ask about everyday style? I'd say I'm the type of girl to wear sporty clothing, so Adidas, Nike, Puma, Lonsdale etc. So you know Mel C/Sporty Spice?
But then my going out look is very different, when I am going out, I tend to go full out on the clothing and the makeup and the shoes. Every little detail counts! You shall see what I mean in my next blog post, when I post up all the things that have happen in the past two weeks :D
4. Best fashion/beauty tip?
Beauty sleep and plenty of water. I can not stress this enough to any of my girlfriends. Really girls! The water keeps you hydrated and a minimum of 8 hours of sleep per night will get your skin absolutely glowing!
5. One thing that you can not live without? And I don't mean air, food or your boyfriend!
I can't live without my family and our home. I think my parents keep me really grounded, even though I hate their guts sometimes (cause they are overprotective and won't let me out!). But when thinking about it, they're the ones who have made me the person I am today, teaching me what is right and wrong and giving me the choice of studying whatever I want to become someone successful in the future. And my sister! Oh gosh, even though we bicker at least 5 times a day, the love between us is endless - we really have each others back.
6. Celebrity crush? Why?
Hahaha, everyone who knows me should know this one. Jay Park! And even better, a few days ago, an announcement was made saying that he is doing an Australian Tour! I feel bad for my boyfriend who has to deal with my fan-girl side, haha.
7. Favorite body feature(s)? Why?
My favourite body feature would be my boobs. Though they give me trouble in finding clothes sometimes, I am very thankful to my parents who passed on a great gene! Though I am skeptical that I may lose them when I lose more weight. 8. If you could be any animal, which animal would you pick and why? It can be a mystical animal.
I think I'd like to be a Golden Retriever, I dunno, they look so nice and caring towards human, and if I were an animal, I'd like to have a connection to the human race, lol.
9. Most embarrassing/scariest thing that happened to you?
My most embarrassing thing that has happened to me...Oh gosh, I have so many! When I first started waitressing, I was probably the worst waitress in the history of waitressing. I think I spilled so many things, forgot some orders. Yeah, I'd like to stop here, cause I am 100 times better than I was. I don't want to think about it anymore!
10. Biggest regret? Please don't say, "I don't regret anything because it made me who I am today".
I am trying not to regret anything from my past - but believe me I do have regrets (1. I didn't meet enough guys or didn't have that one lasting relationship, cause now at 19 yrs old, I have found a guy who is ready to settle for me, and even though I love him, I feel like I'm soooo young), instead I am trying to be grateful for what I did do, and the choices I made. Hope that makes sense. Changing into a better me. I think I have changed a lot since high school ended in 2009. I have become more assertive in decision making (though I still have a long way to go before I say I'm confident in any decision I make), less mellow, probably because I know what I want out of life, and I have chosen the people who surround me, choosing them as people I want to associate with for the rest of my life, because they are the ones who have helped me become a better me. Thursday, July 5, 2012
Hey everyone (who still checks my blog now and then)! I am glad to announce that I am going to get back into blogging! It has been over a year since I last blogged, and the last blog post was about shoes, heh. Well I wanted to start by actually reflecting on the past year.Important things that have happened since June 2011 (in order of events): ✿ July 2011 - I turned 19, and got amazing presents. ✿ August 2011 - Celebrated my best friends' 20th, and apparently got noticed by a certain someone. ✿ September 2011 - Bought a new car, and successfully sold off my old car. Started dating that certain someone. ✿ October 2011 - Officially became someone's girlfriend. Celebrated my parent's 23rd anniversary. ✿ January 2012 - 10 day trip to my mother's homeland. Went to the Gold Coast with my boyfriend. Got into a minor car accident ✿ February 2012 - Started my third year of university. ✿ April 2012 - My boyfriend pitched in $450 for the New iPad (our 6mth anniversary). ✿ June 2012 - Finally got my car fixed, all brand new again. I guess the most important thing that has changed is my martial status. I have been in a blissfully happy 9 month relationship with a much older guy, who absolutely loves me and whom I love back equally, if not even more! Upon getting back into blogging, I have changed my layout! And when I was looking at my wishlist I noticed that I fulfilled most of them, and the ones that I didn't fulfill didn't really matter in the end anyway. Completed wishlist: ♥ 1tb portable hardrive ♥ Coat hangers ♥ ♥ Guitar strap ♥ Toyota Corolla Seca ('11 Model) SPORTS with GPS, Bluetooth, USB and Sensors! ♥ Urban Originals bag Anyway, I promise to update more! Cheers to my girls Gerry and Jennifer for motivating me~ Labels: birthday, boyfriend, car, life Tony Bianco II

Zomg, my second pair of Tony Bianco's! This time round, I bought a pair of boots online, this was the very first time that I've ever bought shoes online, I was pretty scared because I thought that the boots wouldn't have fit my feet, but everything was okay. I initially bought them online last Friday and they were sent out on Wednesday (due to long weekend and the flights from Melbourne to Sydney being delayed?). Anyway, yesterday morning around 8.30, someone rang my door bell and me being the silly girl I am, I thought that it was a prank, the bell rang again and I quickly rushed out of bed, put on a coat and ran outside. When I ran outside, the delivery truck was merging onto the busy road again. Boo. So I had to wait until today to pick up the package from the post office. I had to wait in line for 20 minutes, so many people paying their bills! Anyway, here are the photos!! Labels: shoes, Tony Bianco Hair Change
Saturday, June 11, 2011
I've been pretty sick of my regrowth lately, there was at least 3cm of black regrowth compared to the hazelnut brown/red dye that I had done back in February, so I walked to the shopping center close to my home and bought hair dye from Priceline and decided to dye my own hair. It cost me $12.90, since it was on sale.I wanted a darker coloured hair, I have been wearing the light colours for the past year and a half, and I've been pretty sick of it, I've almost forgotten how I look as with dark hair, haha.
